portraits

Been trying to draw consistently every day but my day job is kicking my butt so I haven’t had time.  I am doing a portrait series for a drawing project.  I drew the Shoji Kawamori who is the artist that came up with the Robotech Macross saga, Mr. Dressup (aka Ernie Coombs) one of my favourite childhood television hosts, the Friendly Giant (another great tv show) and Lucy Maud Montgomery who is featured here. 

She wrote my all time favourite novel series – Anne of Green Gables.  I want this portrait to be an anchor for a repeat series I am doing to put on fabric or a journal. I am still working on the other pieces to add to the repeat pattern but I wanted to share my progress.
