Arizona
We took a trip back in March 2022 to Arizona for a family reunion. It was the very first trip we took post pandemic where we took an airplane. It was a little strange actually.
I have never been to T’s hometown before and Grand Canyon has always been on my bucket list. Truth be told. I want to go to EVERY national park in the United States but this was a big one. We also took advantage of M’s grade 4 — “Visit a National Park” where each child gets a free pass for the family to be able to visit all these beautiful parks. I think this is one of my favourite legacy of President Theodore Roosevelt to establish these parks because who knows with this capitalist country of ours, we could be looking more like Wall – E’s earth.
This was on the way back from Flag Staff near Sedona and it has this beautiful red rock and lovely green trees. There was even snow in Flag Staff! The weather is so awesomely weird.
It was a challenge to photograph. Truth be told my photography is rusty and I need to play more. The strong sun with no cloud in the sky did not help me and not used to it at all!
I am finally getting to hopefully finish this website. Still work in progress but I wanted to start posting.
