We all went on sailing trip May last year and headed to the San Juan Islands accessible only by boat. I really miss it there. So much. This is Stewart Island and I have a thing for lighthouses. There is something utterly tragic and romantic about them. Also making sure they have light for boats to see.
I took this from the boat. It was such a beautiful day. Not great for sailing. I think we had very little win but just beautiful light for pictures.
If you ever get a chance to visit the great Pacific Northwest then you need to visit the San Juan Islands at least once. There are lot of islands that are accessible by ferry that are just as pretty as this one and you can take the iconic WA state ferry.
